One of the most impactful and sought-after public relations strategists with more than two decades of service in the corporate communications, philanthropic, and diplomatic sectors.

Nicole Kirby is the Principal and Founder of CarVer Communications. I have a proven track record in leadership roles, creating national public relations campaigns, running point for corporate and influencer crisis-reputation issues, leading strategists for national marketing and branding campaigns, and being a project manager for high-end special events from start to finish.

It’s been said that the industry of public relations and corporate communications found Nicole Kirby, and in turn, she found her passion. Because of it, Kirby has earned a reputation for achieving top-notch results by orchestrating desirable campaign outcomes one after another. Because Nicole worked for the Baltimore Orioles early on in her career, it’s been said that she’s batting 1,000 in her career. In baseball terms, this means she’s at 100 % success against tremendous odds.

Specializing in strategic marketing communications, public relations, and branding, Kirby is a powerhouse negotiator and fixer! Representing some of the most recognizable influencers in business, politics, entertainment and sports, she has acquired an impressive clientele roster. With more to mention, Kirby and the CarVer communications team currently work with The AFRO Newspaper, the proposed School of Medicine at Morgan State University, the Atlas Restaurant Group, United Aid for Africa (UAA), Neighborhood Design Center (NDC), and Central Baltimore Partnerships. Through her company, CarVer Communications, Nicole has successfully negotiated strategic partnerships and scored unprecedented exposure opportunities for clients across the globe. A media relations professional, she has produced television and radio programming, cast talent, worked with reality TV stars and advised CEOs. Her success rate in the industry is unequivocally vast!

In step with the latest industry trends and standards, it is perhaps Nicole Kirby’s incredible capacity to embrace and expand her clients’ vision that makes her work so remarkably impactful!  Embodied in her repertoire of achievements, Kirby has impressively organized notable corporate collaborations, national press events, political rallies, entertainment events, and DEI workplace initiatives.

Over the years, Kirby’s winning reputation has catapulted her to the forefront as the mastermind of various high-exposure social justice campaigns in partnership with a few well-known activists. Among them: are Attorney Benjamin Crump, Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jessie Jackson, and Dr. Jamal Bryant. Through these impactful associations, Kirby has evolved as a leading press conduit for key efforts to eradicate injustice for victims such as Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Korryn Gaines, and Freddie Gray.

Currently, Kirby sits on the board for the AMG Music Awards and was recently awarded the coveted Joe Mann’s Black Wall Street Award. She’s also a member of the Executive Alliance and ColorComm Women.

Ever rising to the occasion and always striving toward excellence, Nicole has three personal mottos you can hear belting out from time to time, “I turn water into wine, I make it look easy and  We Are Better than Good!”

"Business strategy involves identifying and targeting specific markets with tailored messages to meet business goals. Knowing how to use various channels, such as social media and traditional advertising, to engage potential customers and stay on brand while continuing to build brand awareness. This can be achieved only when you have the skill set to align all business objectives."
